Vital Rotary health program

THIS May, the Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell is encouraging local residents to participate in a Bowel Screening Program as part of Bowelscan month.
Bowel Cancer is the second most commonly diagnosed type of cancer in Australia, but if detected early chances of a cure are good.
Bowelscan with the support of the Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell are asking community members to be proactive and get tested early and with Bowelscan it’s a simple process.
Bowelscan Kits are available at all local pharmacies during May. The cost of a kit is $15. All you have to do is test yourself at home over a two day period and return for pathology in the prepaid envelope provided. There is no charge for pathology and participants will receive their results back by mail.
