A very arty tractor

STUDENTS at The Kilmore International School took part in painting their stories on a tractor and fire truck to support children braving trauma in a fun and creative event at the school last Tuesday, May 23.
The moving pieces of communal art were part of a massive initiative by The Art Cabriolet, travelling from Newcastle to Melbourne to put a spotlight on the importance of creative art therapy.
Kicking off on Monday, May 15 the ‘Tractor Man’ drove into 18 metro, suburban and regional towns in New South Wales and Victoria.
The journey saw a support team of 16 volunteers, artists and art therapists visit 21 designated hospitals, hospices, schools and homes to create art with and for children who are experiencing challenging circumstances.
